SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

To be a trusted company, we prioritize customer satisfaction, quality, environment, and compliance with laws and regulations.

As global concern for environmental issues continues to rise, the role of precious metals is becoming increasingly important due to their environmentally beneficial properties.
In order to contribute to the preservation of the global environment and the development of a prosperous society, we strive to bring out the new potential of precious metals and create innovative functionalities. We also engage in business activities with consideration for environmental impact in response to environmental demands from society and our customers.

1. Quality

ISO 9001 JQA-QM4473 ISO 13485 JQA-MD0099

We manage quality control effectively by monitoring production processes from raw materials to finished products under our quality management system. We have also obtained ISO 9001 international certification, as well as ISO 13485 certification in the medical devices sector. To deliver high-quality products to our customers, we will further enhance our quality assurance system.

2. Environment

ISO 14001 JQA-EM3397

In September 2003, we earned ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification. In order to lessen the environmental impact of our business activities on an ongoing basis, we promote conservation of energy and other resources, waste reduction, and recycling, while also striving to prevent pollution.
We are also participating in a project promoted by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) , conducting research on precious metal catalysts to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

3. Raw material procurement

We have established a Raw Materials Procurement Policy to prevent procurement of raw materials that are associated with such activities as funding of conflicts or terrorism, violation of human rights, payment of taxes, fees, or royalties in conflict regions, or money laundering.

4. Refining and Recycling

The world's supply of precious metals is extremely limited. For example, the total amount of gold mined throughout history is estimated to be less than the volume of four official Olympic swimming pools. Precious metals like gold are considered valuable resources, and their mining and smelting processes involve the use of large-scale equipment and substantial amounts of energy.
We are dedicated to recycling of precious metals, aiming to preserve these valuable resources for future generations and minimize the environmental impact.
